We appraise pre-war and antique cars, muscle and pony cars, hot rods, restomods, and restored or original classics

A classic's value turns on originality, restoration quality, documentation, and demand for the specific model, so our appraisers work from the details that move the number across these groups:

  • By era

    • Pre-war and brass-era cars
    • 1950s and 1960s chrome-era cars
    • Muscle and pony cars
    • 1970s through 1990s collectibles
  • By build

    • Original-condition cars
    • Fully restored cars
    • Restomods and street rods
    • Hot rods and customs
    • Survivor and barn-find cars
  • By body style

    • Convertibles and roadsters
    • Coupes and fastbacks
    • Sedans and wagons
    • Classic pickups

Restoration versus originality, restomod upgrades, non-running cars, and ownership records all shape a classic car appraisal

How is a restored classic valued compared with an original one?

Each is valued against its own market evidence. A restored car is compared with sales of similarly restored examples, and an original-condition car with sales of comparable originals, with adjustments for quality, completeness, and documentation.

Does a modified or restomod classic need a different appraisal?

The process is the same, but the value rests on what buyers pay for comparable modified cars. List every upgrade and send receipts, since engine swaps, suspension work, and custom interiors each affect the comparison.

Can you appraise a classic car that does not run?

Yes. A non-running car is valued in its documented condition, and the effort and cost needed to return it to running order are reflected in the comparable-sales analysis.

What records help most with a classic car appraisal?

Restoration invoices, build sheets, the original window sticker or bill of sale, service history, and dated photos of the exterior, interior, engine bay, and underside all strengthen the value.
